Encyclopedia were once the backbone of knowledge sharing with door to door sales people peddling these products around the world. Today nobody uses these, you certainly won’t find a company that makes any money selling these books.
The internet changed that.
The same thing is happening with human development and how people go about learning skills. A trend is taking place right now that’s referred to as ‘webucation’. Younger generations are learning through online mediums more than ever, and it’s not too distant a future when many of today’s classroom training courses will simply be free on the internet.
