I think you and I were on the same journey all this time…I never overlook an action by someone and it’s outcome. Especially one I’ve actioned myself. I’ve done this for so long I can expertly pick who was an only child after spending some time with someone who is. I can pick someone who has been cristicised a lot for a long time and know at what stage of grief or how it’s journey will look when someone is in its throes. Only once have I been unsure of who was before me. I had picked this person was the youngest child. I had even reasoned why he had only child traits…… he was the much younger youngest child…. but there was something else…couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Then one day he’s chattering away to someone and I hear the words ‘I spent about 7 years as a kid living in an old people’s home cos mum was a nurse’……I’ve jumped up, scared 6 months growth out of everyone as I yelled….’that’s it. You’re like an old man inside cos of the old people’s home which made your other two only and youngest child syndromes worse cos they spoilt the crap out of you like old people do with kids…that’s the thing I couldn’t figure out’. I smiled quite happy with myself and walked away. Always a reason why someone is as they are….being self aware for us has saved us. Is my point. X
